Coaching with Iris is a great way to get honest and valuable feedback on the goals and choices you are making in your life. She keeps you accountable and moving forward by helping you make easy goals and breaking them down into manageable steps. Iris has a great knack for asking the right questions needed at the right time! Coaching with Iris has helped me reflect and then work to move forward with my goals, instead of just going along with whatever happens. Coaching is helping me to work through stuck points. I am now choosing my goals and living my life according to those choices!

I have had the privilege of being in a couple of groups led by Iris. Iris’s kindness, compassion, and love of the Lord are present in every session, and her spirit is truly contagious. Being part of Iris’s groups has allowed me to face painful events that occurred in my past—things I’d really like to forget—in a way that has opened the door for healing. To say things out loud in a group of women with similar experiences is invaluable, and to know that I will not be judged based on my past is a true blessing. Iris’s example of how to respond when someone shares something painful and sensitive has shown us all how to open our hearts and to embrace each other. Iris has taught me through her example how to be present for someone who is hurting, how to respond in a supportive way, and how to allow myself to be supported in a similar way. She is a true example of servant leadership.

Iris serves faithfully on the frontlines of discipleship in our church as both a Small Group Leader and a Prayer Partner. She is present and intentional with those she leads and truly has the heart of a shepherd. Walking with people toward real growth can be messy! Iris is a caring and committed partner on the journey of faith for those who want to take the walk.

Rev. Iris Knapp not only has decades of ministry and ministry training, but she is a woman after God’s own heart. Iris loves God and people deeply and is fulfilling her calling to help women heal from traumatic marriages and life experiences and rediscover their identity in Christ. She continues to further her training and understand autism/neurodiversity to be equipped to serve women who have had challenging and destructive marriages. I continually receive gratitude from women who thank me for referring them to Iris’ groups. While she considers me a mentor in understanding neurodiversity, I consider her one of my spiritual mentors.

I have known Iris for a few years and I have been coached by her in both a group setting and on an individual basis. Her warm and caring personality, and the depth and breadth of her own life experiences that she draws from, make her an empathetic and sympathetic Life Coach. She speaks truth in love without judgment. She is inspiring and enthusiastic. She helps me move forward when I am stuck and guides me to make positive decisions that make my “boat” sail through life more efficiently and effectively. Iris is my go-to person for sound advice and guidance, and I’m exceptionally grateful to have had her in my life for the past few years. And let there be many more years to come!
